Creative crafts built for Rotherham Carnival

The six-hour session at Old Market Gallery, on Keppel Wharf, on Saturday saw creatives craft huge cardboard and papier maché structures.

Tombstones, cacti, an octopus and sea horses represent two of the parade’s themes — under the sea and Mexican holiday Dia de los Muertos.

The carnival will take place in the town centre on September 24.
