Civic Theatre remains closed after roof damage

ROTHERHAM Civic Theatre will remain closed until at least Thursday after part of its roof collapsed.

The venue was due to reopen today (Monday) for the production of How the Koala Learnt to Hug but a spokeswoman said the show and the Chris and Pui Show - due to take place on Wednesday - had both been cancelled.

The Civic Theatre had to close on Monday, March 14 after two small pieces of wood had come loose in the ceiling area above the stage, forcing them to cordon off the stage.
