Choirs team up for European tour

Our photo shows members of Thurnscoe Harmonic Male Voice Choir, Barnsley U3A choir and Barnburgh Village singers, who are joining together to make music in the Austrian Tyrol.                                                                                                                                                                                      Under the watchful eye of maestro Tony Jermy and accompanied by Irene Hill, the joint choir are taking their music to the town of Kirchberg, where they will perform in the town bandstand and in the Hotel Zentral, with a selection of choral and musical theatre favourites in their set.

On their return from Austria, the Thurnscoe choir will be singing for the Rotherham Holiday Aid Charity at Wickersley Church at 7pm on July 23.

Admission is £5 on the door.
