Chance to get heart healthy for Rotherham children

CHILDREN at Rotherham schools will be encouraged to get heart healthy in thanks to an interactive education programme being offered by national charity Heart Research UK.

Having already engaged with 10,000 primary school children across the country, the Yorkshire-based national charity will be visiting schools in across the county to raise awareness of healthy lifestyles and the importance of diet and exercise as well as maintaining healthy teeth and gums for a healthy heart.

The programme is being funded by healthcare provider Simplyhealth so it will be free for schools to take part.
