Celebrate Yorkshire Day in Wickersley

Visitors to Wickersley Park on Warren Road will find a Yorkshire Day gala there between 10.30am and 4.30pm tomorrow.

A farmers’ market will offer local produce from Lawns Farm Shop, The Mussel Pot, I Love Fudge, Albion Artisan Foods and Yorkshire Bees.

The event will also see bands, dancers, fairground rides, stalls, food vans and vintage vehicles rallying to the cry of: “Yorkshire and proud of it!”

There will also be a beer tent and hog roast, as well as tea and scones in the Women’s Institute tent.
