Cash boost for charity coffers

A ROTHERHAM charity has been awarded £25,000 to help put on more projects aimed at supporting families.

Tassibee has been awarded the grant for the salary of a project manager from the Lloyds TSB Foundation for England and Wales.

The Tassibee Project provides support and activities to women and their families from blacn and ethnic minorities communities in Rotherha, who are living in disadvantaged areas and affected by issues including isolation, domestic abuse and hectic lifestyles.
