Brass brings in brass for charities

ROTARY club members are organising a brass band concert next week in aid of a host of Rotherham charities.

Rotherham Autistic Society, SAFE@LAST, Start a Heart 24/7, Rotherham Cancer Care and Rotherham Samaritans are among the causes set to benefit from Sitwell Rotary Club’s concert featuring Dinnington Colliery Band at 7.15pm next Thursday.

“The programme is full of festive music and there is plenty of opportunity to sing carols and other seasonal songs,” said the club’s past president, Tom Knight.

Tickets priced £5 each and including refreshments are available on the door. Under-11s go free.
