Beer and music add up to Oktoberfest fun
The German-themed event takes place on Saturday, October 1, and partygoers are preparing to eat, drink and dance from midday to midnight.
Oktoberfest, which is thought to be the biggest of its kind in the region, features continental draught and bottled lagers, fancy dress and entertainment from Oompah bands.

Guests are encouraged to get in the spirit by dressing in Bavarian costume, and Oompah entertainment will be provided by Hofbrau Howlerz and the Bootleggers. Local bands and a DJ will also provide a soundtrack to the party.
Over the last two years, almost 4,000 people have attended Oktoberfest.
Magna’s sales accounts manager Becky Gill said: “This event brings long-standing German tradition to the doorstep of South Yorkshire and we can’t wait to see everyone get into the Bavarian spirit in Rotherham. There's always a unique atmosphere at Oktoberfest, which makes for a brilliant and memorable occasion.”
