Beautiful Brampton gardens will open to the public

FIVE hidden gardens in a picturesque village will be opened to the public as part of a charity fundraising day.

The gardens in Brampton en le Morthen will be opened from 1pm to 5pm on Saturday, June 15, as part of an event organised by the village association.

Homemade cakes, plants and refreshments will be on offer.

Glynis Briddon, secretary of Brampton en le Morthen Village Association, said: “It is the first time the village committee has organised such a big event.

“All proceeds will go to Rotherham Hospice, Rotherham Rescue Rangers and the village fund.

“We are also showcasing our new village sign funded by Banks Wind Farm Community fund.

“The design (pictured) shows our heritage of farming.”

Tickets and maps are available to buy on the day from the Rising Deer pub car park or in any of the five gardens for £3, which includes entry to every location.
