Antiques Roadshow experts on their way to Rotherham

ANTIQUES Roadshow experts are on the hunt for weighty wonders ahead of their visit to Rotherham in a fortnight.

People with large items and pieces of furniture they would like valued by the BBC show’s specialists are being asked to let the production team know.

Experts will take a look at the heavy treasures in their owners’ homes before deciding whether to transport them to the filming day at Wentworth Woodhouse on September 19.

If you want your large antique item looked at, send details and photographs of the objects to Antiques Roashow, BBC, Whiteladies Road, Bristol BS8 2LR or e-mail them to [email protected].

Any other antique owners are invited to turn up from 9.30am on the day to let the team run the rule over their family heirlooms.

Entry and valuations are free and visitors may get to meet experts including Bunny Campione, Eric Knowles and Judith Miller.
