Anston children going French for Christmas market
FORGET German Christmas markets, festive pupils at one Rotherham school are taking their cue from across the Channel.
Children at Anston Greenlands Junior and Infant School are putting on their own Christmas market next Friday.
Year 5 and Year 6 children will take the chabnce an opportunity to practise the French they have been learning over the autumn term, while dressed in the red, white and blue of the French national flag.
All proceeds from the event will go to DEC (the Disasters Emergency Committee), to support their Philippines Typhoon Appeal.
