Advertiser celebrates the 60s with swinging music event

Our latest event at the Holiday Inn Rotherham last Thursday featured musical entertainment from Lorri Brown and Gary Birtles singing hits from the swinging decade.

Christine Greenfield, who helped organise the event, said: “This really was a fantastic afternoon, with more than 100 people up and dancing the afternoon away at a great venue.

“The meal was lovely and the singers were excellent, taking everyone back to the 60s and reliving their younger days.

“I think fans of this era would struggle to find a better value afternoon and everyone I spoke to said they really enjoyed themselves and left with smiles on their faces.”

The Advertiser’s next events are a 60s Divas celebration on December 8 and an American Legends afternoon on December 15.
