"Crazy" day for MP Alexander Stafford as he meets Kiss rock legend Gene Simmons at Parliament

IT WAS a Crazy, Crazy day for MP Alexander Stafford today when he ran into rock royalty at Parliament.

The Rother Valley MP posted a picture on social media of himself alongside Kiss frontman Gene Simmons, who was in rock star-casual mode of leather trousers, suit jacket and dark glasses — and was missing his trademark outlandish stage make-up.

The MP was clearly keen to Shout It Out Loud about his celebrity photocall, but was unclear if the pair were set to Rock and Roll All Nite together.

“You never know who you might meet in Parliament - and it was a pleasure today to get meet the legendary Gene Simmons from @kiss,” he Tweeted.

Kiss have had seven UK top 40 albums and six top 40 singles, including the No 4 Crazy, Crazy Nights.

Rock idol Gene watched Prime Minister's Questions from the public gallery before posing for photos with MPs, journalists and staff.
