Music, dancing and bun-throwing! All the pictures from this year's Wath Festival

STREET entertainment from across the ages got the party swinging as a popular family festival made a welcome return.

Cheerleaders from Wath Victoria Primary School, Wath Morris and Wath Morris Minors and Drummers United all entertained at the Wath Festival last weekend.

The festival featured a string of concerts by established folk artists such as a Bob Fox & Jez Lowe and Common Ground and group performances from the likes of Sheffield Folk Chorale, while there was a chance to dance at the Friday night ceilidh at The Burlington Club.

Crowds gathered on Saturday for the festival’s traditional ceremonies — the reading of the will of Thomas Tuke and the throwing of bread rolls from the spire of All Saints’ Church as part of the May Day Celebrations.
