Exhibition on homelessness will challenge stigmas

A “THOUGHT-PROVOKING” multi-media exhibition is coming to Sheffield Cathedral next month to turn a spotlight on the realities of everyday life for homeless people.

The Archer Project’s ‘Handle With Care’ exhibition aims to give survivors of trauma a platform to share their stories and shed light on the heart-breaking realities that homeless people battle with every day.

A spokesperson for the charity, which supports homeless and vulnerably housed people in Sheffield, described the forthcoming free exhibition, as “thought-provoking”, adding: “By challenging the stigmas attached to homelessness we hope to generate more support to allow us to continue aiding recovery from traumas that most of society, thankfully, will never have to experience.”

‘Handle With Care’ takes place at Sheffield Cathedral between September 16 and 30.
