A TEENAGE student has become a published author at age 13 after penning a story about an invisible boy.

Alex Webster, who has severe autism and attends Newman School is the brains behind the novel, ETM: His Life, which is out now.

Alex, of Rawmarsh, said: “I’ve been writing stories for a while now. They just come into my head.

“The book is about a kids who cannot be seen by anyone - he’s completely invisible.

“He was not invisible at first but it just happened. It’s about how he deals with it.

“Once I had the original idea it just came very quickly into a full story. It took a few months to fully write it.”

Alex said there could be a sequel in the pipeline, adding: “It’s something I’ve really enjoyed doing and I think I’d like to make it a series.”

EMT: His Life is available from Sheffieldbooks.com.
