“It’s a really big deal for me as they are doing amazing work.
“To be honest I had forgotten I’d applied for it and then the letter came through to say I’d got it.
“I can bring back what I learn to help with what I’m trying to do in Rotherham and hopefully it will make people realise I’m pretty serious about what I’m doing here.”

Vicky said the £6,000 prize money from Carling’s We Got This community campaign would be used to set up a new printing studio which will be open to the public.
She said she also aimed to push on with plans for an exchange programme which will see Rotherham artists’ work displayed in Sheffield and vice versa but this was dependent on attracting fresh funding.
