We're ready to go, says Lee

TITANS head coach Lee Blackett says he’s delighted with his side’s Championship build-up and says the Clifton Lane men will be ready to rumble — despite a limited number of warm-up games.

Rotherham play their final game, a 40 minutes stint at Macclesfield tomorrow, ahead of the opener against Moseley at Castle Park on September 14.

That follows the two full games already played, at Worcester and Hull Ionians, but Blackett reckons the squad is shaping up nicely.

He said: “We would have had a game at Sheffield Tigers next week but that had to be cancelled so the only other full workout will be a behind-closed-doors session with Nottingham.

“But we feel we’re in a good place right now. We had a good game at Worcester last week and then ran in 13 tries against Ionians and we learned a lot from both games."
