We'll learn from defeat, says Bester

ANDRE Bester has admitted that he rippped into his Rotherham Titans side after their defeat at Leeds.

But he says: “It’s a result that will do us good.”

Titans were beaten 26-19 by their arch rivals after failing to combat Leeds’ kicking game  which, says the coach, was accentuated by some below-par individual performances.

Bester made his feelings clear after assessing the game but said that the squad will learn massively from the game—and won’t make the same mistakes again.

“It was a poor display from us and I let the players know that,” he said.

“But we’ve always said that it’s not about what happens now, it’s about how well-prepared we are for the play-offs. The players will learn from the Leeds game and that will be good for us."

Start time tomorrow is 2pm.
