We'll be as strong as anyone, says Bester

TITANS boss Andre Bester has pledged that his team will be as strong as any in Britain as the build-up to the Championship season begins.

The Clifton Lane club kicked off their new, full-time training programme this week and already Bester is delighted with the power in his new-look squad.

Rotherham have brought in 20 recruits with up to three more to come and Bester says: “The intensity is incredible.”

He added: “The fitness of the players will be there for everyone to see and we will be as strong as anyone in the country, never mind the Championship.

“We started training this week and it has been tough for the players. There are a lot of aches and pins around and one or two knocks, but thie thing is we’be got to getb these boys to where I want them to be."

Meanwhile, Louis McGowan has left the club after failing to agree to a new contract. He will join Sedgley Park.
