We were outstanding, says Scott

MANAGER Andy Scott saluted a top-drawer performance after the Millers romped to a big win at Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.

Scott's fired-up side hit back from going a goal down just after half time to win 4-1, with Gareth Evans and Adam Le Fondre both scoring twice.

The victory, which was Rotherham's first at Home Park since 1970, put them top of the early standings in League Two and the boss couldn't be happier.

"It was an outstanding performance and should give the lads a terrific boost," he said.

"Overall we must have made probably ten chances and some really good ones.

"If we keep on performing like that, no-one is going to have an easy ride that's for sure."

The Millers visit Crewe Alexandra tomorrow (7.45pm).
