Warnock ponders changes

NEIL Warnock is considering experimenting for tomorrow's New York Stadium finale against Blackburn Rovers.

While the Millers boss wants the players to carry the current unbeaten run to the end of the season, he has more room for manoeuvre with the threat of relegation out of the way.

A win would take Rotherham above Paul Lambert's Rovers and the 50 points mark and if Warnock can achieve it while maybe taking a look at one or two fringe players and altering the system, all the better.

“I would love to try one or two things out to give me an idea on certain situations. Whether I will do or not I don't know,” he said.

“I might try one or two different players or different tactics because you're not going to get a better chance to experiment.

“Both teams will feel a sense of relief but both sets of players will want to finish the season with a bit of pride and we want to keep that unbeaten run going and make it 12. It's beyond our wildest dreams."

Rovers edged the first meeting 1-0 in December but are without a win in the last six.
