Trio sign for Titans

TITANS have snapped up highly-rated brothers Charlie and Fergus Mulchrone—and have also brought in Doncaster powerhouse back rower Michael Noone as they continue the Clifton Lane recruitment process.

The Mulchrones have both been signed from Macclesfield and coach Andre Bester sees scrum-half Charlie, who is 23 next week, and utility back Fergus (26) as key men in their operation.

Noone, who has a string of Irish development honours, has also joined the club after rejecting a contract from the nights in favour of coming to the Lane.

And Rotherham have also completed new deals with current players Jamie Kilbane, Ted Stagg and Neale Patrick.

Said Bester: “Charlie Mulchrone comes to us on the recommendation of Sean Dougall. He says that Charlie was a stand-out player in the Irish Under-19 World Cup team a few years back."
