Titans sign Spanish prop
TITANS have swooped to sign burly prop prospect Gorka Imaz to pump up their front row power.
The 22-year-old Spaniard is likely to make his debut at Pontypridd next week in the British and Irish Cup and will sign on a match-to-match basis while the Clifton Lane club assess his ability. If he gets the green light then Imaz will be offered a long-term deal.
Coach Andre Bester is also expected to make more signings next week as he sharpens his squad for the play-offs and also for next season.
He said: “He’ll come to us on trial at the moment. He’s a big lad and weight in at 20 stones and he is a good scrummager."
Titans play Cornish Pirates tomorrow (2pm).
