The former Border Reivers player, comfortable at either outside centre of full-back, comes to Clifton Lane from Italian side Viadana, one of four new faces unveilved this week by coach Andre Bester.

And Bester says it’s a “significant signing” for the club.

“Garry is a player who has been with Viadana for four years and has done really well with them, with plenty of European experience” said Bester.

Titans have also signed centre/wing Steve Hamilton and half-back Dave Marshall, both of whom spent time at Nottingham last year. The other new face is Wharfedale tight-head prop Ben Hooper.
