Titans sign Premiership prospect

DELIGHTED Titans have pulled off a major coup with Sale Shark Matty James having put pen to paper for the rest of the season.

And following Wednesday’s superb 29-13 win over title-chasing London Welsh, it’s just the news the club wanted as they look to make certain of a place in the Championship promotion play-offs.

The 23-year-old utility back—the brother of current Titan Simeon—has agreed terms for the rest of the season with a view to a 12-month contract extension.

Head coach Andre Bester has been chasing the Kiwi for several months before getting the green light and will give him his first run out against Ayr tomorrow.
