Titans new man gets quickfire debut

TITANS have signed their second prop inside seven days—and coach Andre Bester reckons beefy Mark George has what it takes to go all the way to the Premiership.

The 25-year-old from Nottingham put pen to paper this week and will make a quickfire debut—barring any late hitches—at Pontypridd today in the British and Irish Cup.

George, who trained with his new team-mates for the first time this week is a former back-rower with Birmingham Bees, prior to a stint in Spain where he converted to the front row.

Said Bester: “He definitely can go on an play at Premiership level."

Today's game starts at 3pm with Rotherham playing a largely development side.
