Titans close in on new prop

TITANS are poised to bring in another new prop, possibly in time for Saturday’s British and Irish Cup trip to Pontypridd.

Coach Andre Bester expects to add to his front row power, following last week’s drafting in of  Spaniard Gorka Imaz.

He said: “We know the player we want and talks are at an advanced stage. He could be at the club in time to get a run out this week.”

It adds to the feelgood factor at Clifton Lane following Saturday’s 19-18 win over Cornish Pirates.

After the Pontypridd game, Titans return to league action next Wednesday when London Welsh come to town.

The game starts at 2pm and prices have been pegged to £10 for adults and £5 for concessions.
