Scott lifted by revival

ROTHERHAM United chase a third straight win at Burton Albion tomorrow under the eye of an increasingly confident Andy Scott.

Back-to-back victories against current League Two leaders Southend United and Accrington Stanley have lifted the Millers back to within three points of the play-off frame and calmed the critics after a poor January.

Tomorrow's visit to the Pirelli Stadium and Tuesday's match at Gillingham offer a chance to steal a march on two more close rivals and Scott believes his side are beginning to click.

He said: "Things are coming together. I am reluctant to say we have got there but we are going in the right direction.

"Everyone can beat everyone else and if you put a few results together then you're going to push yourself up the league. Torquay and Swindon have done it and some of the teams above us are struggling and might come back to the pack.

"The run-in is a difficult time. Our focus isn't on the play-offs; it's on the next three points. We have to play the teams around us and they're going to be big games in where we finish off at the end of the season.

"We're not kidding ourselves. It's not a Torquay-esque run that we're on but we have won two games which propels us up to where we feel we should be."
