Scott demands a response

ROTHERHAM United go to Bristol Rovers on Friday night under strict instructions to buck their ideas up.

Manager Andy Scott was scathing of their performance in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Burton Albion, accusing his players of not sticking to the game plan.

Now without a win in six games and slipping off the promotion pace in League Two, the Millers need a result at the Memorial Stadium to get their challenge back on track.

Scott said: "We will persevere but we can't let it affect our next performance at Bristol Rovers, which is another really tough place to go. There's some tough games for the rest of this month and people have got to stand up and be counted.

"We will see whether they are men or boys."
