Salute the Millers champions of 80/81

After some tireless work by hospitality host and club legend John Breckin, the likes of Tony Towner, Mick Gooding, Ray Mountford and John Green will be presented to home supporters ahead of tomorrow's clash with Reading.

Rotherham United are inviting all supporters to take to their seats for 2.45pm to show their appreciation to the Third Division Championship winners.

John, who was part of the side, said: "I am overwhelmed by the response I've had from the lads from the 80/81 team.

"I have been told that a lot of supporters remember our playing days fondly and having spoken to the majority of the team, I can conclusively say that we enjoyed that era just as much.

"There are some real legends returning on Saturday and people joining us from as far away as the South Coast so please show them your appreciation as you have done with my guests so many times in the past."
