Rudolph inspires in-form Town

GERHARD Rudolph smashed 155 as Rotherham Town made it four wins on the spin at the expense of Cleethorpes at Clifton Lane on Saturday.

They won by 66 runs to move up to third place in the Yorkshire League, with South African Rudolph's big knock backed up by from 50 from Jordan Lowe in what was Town's first home game of the season.

They opened with 255 in their 55 overs before holding the visitors to 192-9 in reply.

Young spinner Gurman Randhawa had 5-38 and although the final wicket eluded the home side, the win lifted them to within three points of Cleethorpes in the league table.
