QPR winger signs in at Don Valley

THE Millers have signed former Queens Park Rangers winger Chris Arthur on a two-month contract.

The left sided player has been on trial at Don Valley and has impressed in two reserve outings against Sheffield Wednesday and Nottingham Forest.

Arthur (20) has been looking for a club since leaving Loftus Road but does have first team experience after loan spells with Kettering Town and Rushden and Diamonds.

Chief operating officer Paul Douglas said: "Chris has trained with us for the last couple of weeks and has impressed Ronnie sufficiently to warrant this opportunity.

"Chris welcomed this chance and I am sure he will work extremely hard while he is here to try and earn an extended deal with the club."
