Players put on trial by Titans

ANDRE Bester is set to give several triallist players the chance to follow in the footsteps of success stories Sean Dougall and Cliffie Hodgson.

As his squad nears completion, the Titans chief is to give five players early-season trial chances, with longer term deals up for grabs for the new season.

Both Dougall and Hodgson were successful triallists last year and Bester is confident of unearthing more quality acquisitions.

We had a successful system last year when Sean, Cliffe and James Sandford came through trial and we will have several players going through the same programme this time around,” he said.

Titans also expect to receive confirmation that two new backs will be joining the club.
