Pack will be strong, says Jones

TITANS coach Mark Jones is confident that the Rotherham pack will have the strength to cope with the demands of the forthcoming Championship campaign.

With star man Alex Rieder having joined Wasps, Aussie Tim Cree and Canadian Kyle Gilmour are due to arrive shortly to bolster the front eight.

Jones says that the Titans’ pack will also shape up under the watchful eye of forwards coach Steve Salvin.

“I’m enjoying working with Steve and the forwards are looking like they will shape up well. We’ve already started working with them on the set piece and things are falling nicely into place.”

Cree is expected to arrive later this month while Gilmour will join his new team-mates after his stint with Canada in the World Cup.
