NYS book date for Howard Webb

WORLD Cup referee and Millers fanatic Howard Webb makes a special appearance at the AESSEAL New York Stadium next month.

Rotherham United's Honorary Ambassador will be attending a special book signing for his autobiography: The Man in the Middle, on Saturday, December 17.

He will be at the Red and White Shop from 9.30am-11am to personalise copies of his highly-rated account of being a full-time football official.

The visit is on the same day as the clash with Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough, offering fans to pop down to the NYS and meet Howard before travelling to the game.

Millers commercial Director Steve Coakley said: "Howard has accepted our invitation to join us at AESSEAL New York Stadium where he is greatly admired and we are looking forward to catching up with one of the club's most famous names."

Available to purchase now at the Red and White Shopand, the autobiography tells the story of Howard's rise from his days as a policeman through to officiating some of the most high-profile matches in world football.
