No hurry, say Titans

ROTHERHAM Titans insist they won’t rush into any decision to appoint a new coach, although former Welsh international Mark Jones remains top of the Clifton Lane wanted list.

The 35-year-old, rated in Wales as a top coach, has been tipped as successor to Wasps-bound Lee Blackett. He moved into pole position after former Leeds’ man Scott Barrow withdrew from the race for personal reasons.

It is expected that Lane directors Nick Cragg and Martin Jenkinson will meet next week to discuss the matter.
