New man Jones has glowing references

Jones (34) takes over on Monday morning as the replacement for Wasps-bound Lee Blackett and Rotherham are delighted with their capture as they prepare for a third straight shot at the Championship play-offs. He signed his contract yesterday.

And former Wales national coach Gareth Jenkins, Jones will make a success of coaching.

"His ability as a technical coach is exceptional,” he said.

“As player he was popular and respected by peers across the game working hard throughout his club and international career and then applying this knowledge and experience in his early coaching career to great effect.”
