Millers to tackle Sven's men

MANAGER Andy Scott hopes to claim another big scalp when the Millers take on Championship big spenders Leicester City in the Carling Cup tonight.

As manager of Brentford last season, he masterminded wins over Hull City and Everton before his side went out to eventual winners Birmingham City.

Sven-Goran Eriksson's expensively assembled outfit represent another tough test but it is one Scott is relishing.

"We want a good run in the Carling Cup and we want to beat the better teams," he said.

"With the quality Leicester have in their squad, we'll have to be at our best to even compete with them.

"It's going to be tough but if they have an off day and we have a very, very good day then, who knows?

"You want to pit your wits against the best managers. It will be interesting to see how Sven plays and how he prepares his side for us and how we can combat their strengths and get at their weaknesses.

"We can enjoy it but we'll enjoy it in the right way and if we win it and cause an upset then great."

Andy Warrington is in line to deputise in goal for the cup-tied Conrad Logan while new signing Michael Raynes is set to make his Millers debut at centre-half in the absence of Troy Brown, who is on international duty.

Kick-off at Don Valley Stadium is at 7.45pm.
