Millers cruise to victory over Parkgate
THE Millers gave run-outs to half a dozen new signings as they started their pre-season build-up with a handsome win over Parkgate.
A big crowd at Roundwood saw Steve Evans’ men hit six without reply with the help of Emmanuel Ledesma, Joe Mattock, Aidy White, Danny Collins, Tom Thorpe and Greg Halford.
A Ledesma strike and a Paul Green penalty had Rotherham two-up by half time. The Steelmen had Ben Langford sent off for the deliberate handball which led to the spot kick.
Tottenham man Grant Ward lashed in a fine third goal after the break and Danny Ward, Lee Frecklington and Jerry Yates completed the tally.
