Jones impressed by Titans' spirit

Jones signed in this week, taking over from Lee Blackett.

“As it’s my first week I’m just finding my bearings and settling in and getting to know everyone,” he says.

“They look like good men, with the way they’ve applied themselves early on. There’s a good personalty and work ethic and the effort in the early fitness sessions is very, very good. It’s all very positive.

“The boys are telling me that they’ve developed physically from last year, which is always good to hear. They’re young and thirsty for learning.

“Lee Blackett and Steve Salvin have done a good job over the last couple of years. I’m not looking to throw all of that out of the window, I want to retain what the players think is positive.

“Winning rugby matches is vital and so is personal development, for myself as well as the players.
