Jimmy aims to put record straight

LIVELY scrum-half Jimmy Williams doesn’t have too many fond memories of Old Deer Park—but aims to put that straight tomorrow.

His first trip to London Welsh’s ground came just two years ago when his Birmingham Bees side came under the cosh in a 37-12 defeat

“I had my first-ever Championship game at London Welsh and got dragged off at half-time!” he said.

”It wasn’t the greatest experience for me and it’s always tough to go there.

“But we’ve got to go there with a positive attitude and hopefully we’ll be able to bring something home.

“We feel we’ve got the quality, it’s just that we play well in patches and then somethines switch off for ten minutes. If we can bring it all together and have more good minutes than bad minutes then we’ll be where we want to be. Things are starting to feel good.”
