I'm sorry, says Sean

TITANS’ skipper for the day Sean Dougall held his hand up and apologised after a second-half sin-binning which turned the tide of Sunday’s opener at London Scottish.

Dougall was given the captain’s armband with Sam Dickinson still not ready to return after breaking an arm at the end of last season but a faultless display was soured when he was yellow-carded for tripping an opponent at a key point in the second half.

At that stage, Rotherham were 11-6 up and looking a good bet for the win—but Scottish took advantage of their numerical superiority to claim the win points.

Dougall was honest enough afterwards to admit that he made a mistake.

“Discipline was the key and I’ll hold my hands up because I was sin-biined. Those yellow cards killed us in the end,” he said.
