Girls impress in France
GIRLS from Maltby Running Club excelled when they travelled to warmer climes in St Quentin in northern France.
Team members travelled across the channel as part of an exchange trip with Rotherham’s twin town and took part in a local race.
Sarah Attwood was second in the ladies’ section and Caroline Boyd-Southern was seventh, taking the first veteran over-60 prize.
Barbara Russling was ninth and first veteran over 50 while Maureen Matthews was first over 70 in the 5K walk.
