It's Legends Night again.

AESSEAL New York Stadium is set for yet another sell-out crowd tomorrow night.

The home of Rotherham United had more than its share of capacity attendances last season as the Millers closed in on Championship survival.

On this occasion, it's the corporate suite that will be bursting at the seams as supporter and fund-raiser Kev Johnson stages another of his famous 'Legends' events.

Former players Lee Frecklington, Martin McIntosh, Chris Swailes and Ben Pringle are the main guests and Rotherham Hospice will again be the beneficiaries as 350 fans descend on S60 for an evening of questions, answers and laughs.

It's the third time Kev has staged such a night and they're becoming ever more popular. Two-hundred-and-eighty of tomorrow's places had been pre-booked before tickets went on sale and the rest were snapped up in a matter of hours.

"I can't wait," he said. "It seems to have come round really quickly. I'm really excited. You have to talk to a lot of people and sort out a lot of things but I enjoy doing it.

"The only nerves I get are over hoping everything goes according to plan and everyone has a great time."

Attracting the star names has never been a problem. It seems they enjoy proceedings just as much as the paying public.

"The players I ask are always brilliant about it," Kev said "I've never been turned down by anyone. I ask fans on Twitter who'd they like to see on the panel, get hold of the players' numbers and take things from there."

Pringle is set for his second appearance as a late replacement for Adam Le Fondre, who has been ruled out by training commitments with new club Hibernian, while Frecklington, McIntosh and Swailes are all making their debuts.

Kev is becoming something of a legend himself, having generated an eye-catching amount of money for the hospice whose name will be on the front of the Millers' shirts next season.

All three events have sold out, with 120 punters at Rotherham Rugby Union Club putting £6,000 in the pot and then 350 contributing £11,500 when affairs moved to New York.

"This time I'm hoping we get to £15,000," Kev said. "We're tinkering with the auction items and a few extra components. Last year, all told, I raised £31,000 for the hospice through Legends nights, shirt auctions and other things.

"New York is a perfect venue. It's just a shame that we're limited by space to 350 guests. That affects how much money we can bring in."

Kev works in the IT industry and split screens and a dual role are the order of the day when the legends are due in town.

"I have one screen I work on and another where I try to raise money," he said. "I'm an organised person so I stay on top of everything. It is time-consuming but you get into a rhythm and it all clicks into place."

As usual, former management duo Ronnie Moore and John Breckin will be in the room. An added bonus will be the presence of recently-departed captain Richard Wood who has donated one of his jerseys to the auction and will be mingling with the audience

"It will be nice for fans to be able to thank him for what he's done for the club over the last nine years," Kev said.

Meanwhile, things may be get even bigger and better in the future.

Watch out for a planned Christmas special ... a new location and room for a gathering of 600.
