Rotherham United backs 80 charity events with generous donations

ROTHERHAM United says it is “proud” to have supported a total of 80 charity ventures with signed merchandise donations since the turn of the year.

Through the club’s community sports trust, the Millers support a range of good causes, including St Bede’s, Redscope and Flanderwell primary schools, Rotherham Hospice, and St John Ambulance.

A spokesperson said: “The list of events that the club has been able to support ranges from raffles for NHS charities to fundraisers for grassroots football teams and everything in-between and we are always delighted to hear of the amazing commitment of our fans to raise money for the causes that they are passionate about.

“We know that so many of you put in countless hours to raise money for charity throughout the course of a year and we are always keen to help support when the opportunity arises.

“Of course, we cannot offer our backing to every single request that we receive, but we will always try to find a way to help where we can.”
