New away shirt unveiled by Millers

ROTHERHAM United have unveiled their new away shirt for the upcoming season.

Apogee Limited are the new shirt sponsor for the light blue kit, introducing a new name for the 2016/17 Championship season.

Old sponsors Balreed were acquired by Apogee Limited meaning the independently managed services provider of print, document and process technology across the UK and Europe will have their name on the front of the shirt.

Commercial Director Steve Coakley said: “The club are very excited to add Apogee to our growing portfolio of commercial partners and we are looking forward to what I am sure will be a successful relationship.

“We are continuing to make great strides commercially as we get ready for our return for another season in the Championship, and this is another great partnership with a market leading company."

Director of Apogee, Richard Brewin, said: “Under the Balreed brand last season we received fabulous media coverage, both nationally and internationally, via our corporate presence on the front of the shirt and we are delighted to secure a deal for a further season so that Apogee can continue to reap the many benefits of what the sponsorship provided.

“Since acquiring Balreed, Apogee has continued to grow and is now a Europe-wide business but still value working with local organisations such as Rotherham United.  I look forward to developing the long-standing relationship we established as Balreed."

The new away shirt comes on the back of last week's unveiling of the home strip.
