In homage to the “Rev-meister”
Joe and Kim Roebuck (pictured with son Archer) were inspired by the battling front man’s stunning volley to get Rotherham United back on level terms in their League One play-off final and set about creating a T-shirt to commemorate the moment on the eve of the dramatic promotion clash.
The creative couple have now received backing from the “Revmeister” himself and are hoping to sell dozens of shirts to raise funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Hide AdJoe (33), from Bramley, said: “I was at Wembley and Alex Revell’s goal blew me away, but his body shape when he struck the ball was so distinctive that I knew it would be a really iconic image.
“When I got home that night I watched the game again on Sky.
“Kim and I paused the footage and literally traced his silhouette off the screen.
“Neither of us are graphic designers but Kim set about creating a design on the PC alongside a line from the Sky Sports commentary, which described the goal as ‘ambitious but brilliant’.

Joe and Kim visited a website called fabrily which will produce and sell the T-shirts people design if they can attract a certain number of sales, with much of the profit handed back to its creators.
The “ambitious but brilliant” T-shirt soared past the 20 sales required within hours and Alex Revell promoted the campaign via Twitter to further boost interest among fans.
The T-shirts — priced at £15.99, plus postage and packing — are only on sale for seven days, however.

Joe, who hopes to donate around £7 from each sale to MNDA, said: “I had a fantastic day at Wembley and, hopefully, the T-shirt will remind people of how great it was.
