Ex-Titan back in the Championship

Du Plessis has joined London Scottish for the remainder of the season after impressing in the recent World Cup.

The flanker featured in all of Namibia's matches and received the man-of-the-match award in their one-point defeat against Georgia at Sandy Park. 

The 31-year-old, who has 48 caps for Namibia, also has experience of playing in England, after stints at Wasps, Rotherham and Cornish Pirates. 

Du Plessis said: "I'm thrilled to be joining Scottish until the end of the season and will be giving my all to the team as we look to get some wins on the board.”

He added: "Hopefully I can pass on some of my experience to the squad and after training this week I'm really excited about getting on to the pitch whenever I get the chance.”
