Evans aims to keep up momentum

COMINGS and goings are on the cards at Rotherham United as manager Steve Evans looks to fine-tune his squad.

With loan striker Luciano Becchio ruled out for an extended spell with a fractured heel, manager is looking for a replacement as well as a further new face to bolster numbers. Others who have been on the fringes of the first team could also be going out on loan to get sharp.

Evans said: "We would like to bring a couple in but perhaps a couple need to go out who have come back from injury and are fit and able and just need game time. We need them to go and get five or six weeks of football so they can be back for the important Christmas period."

Rotherham, meanwhile, chase a third win in four games against Fulham at the New York Stadium tonight (7.45pm).

Under the guidance of caretaker manager Kit Symons, Fulham have won four of their last five and took the scalp of leaders Norwich City on Saturday while the Millers want to build on Friday's excellent win over Leeds.

Evans added: "Fulham were in a European final not so long ago and we're looking forward to hosting another good club."
